چکیده

The proliferation of “Things” over a network creates the Internet Things (IoT), where sensors integrate to collect data from environment long periods time. growth IoT applications will inevitably involve co-locating multiple wireless sensor networks, each serving different with, possibly, needs and constraints. Since energy is scarce in nodes equipped with non-rechargeable batteries, harvesting technologies have been focus research recent years. However, new problems arise as result their wide spatio-temporal variation. Such shortcoming can be avoided if co-located networks cooperate other share available energy. Due unique characteristics owners, recently, we proposed negotiation approach deal conflict preferences. Unfortunately, impractical large number participants, especially an open environment. Given this, introduce partner selection technique based on multi-armed bandits (MAB), that enables node learn strategy optimises its resources term. Our results show solution allows repeatedly current best dynamic performance such evaluated through simulation shows achieve efficiency 72% against optimal most challenging scenario studied this work.

A Fuzzy Based Approach for Rate Control in Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks

Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks (WMSNs) undergo congestion when a link (or a node) becomes overpopulated in terms of incoming packets. In WMSNs this happens especially in upstream nodes where all incoming packets meet and directed to the sink node. Congestion in networks, if not handled properly, might lead to congestion collapse which deteriorates the quality of service (QoS). Therefore, i...

A JOINT DUTY CYCLE SCHEDULING AND ENERGY AWARE ROUTING APPROACH BASED ON EVOLUTIONARY GAME FOR WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS

Network throughput and energy conservation are two conflicting important performance metrics for wireless sensor networks. Since these two objectives are in conflict with each other, it is difficult to achieve them simultaneously. In this paper, a joint duty cycle scheduling and energy aware routing approach is proposed based on evolutionary game theory which is called DREG. Making a trade-off ...

A multi-hop PSO based localization algorithm for wireless sensor networks

A sensor network consists of a large number of sensor nodes that are distributed in a large geographic environment to collect data. Localization is one of the key issues in wireless sensor network researches because it is important to determine the location of an event. On the other side, finding the location of a wireless sensor node by the Global Positioning System (GPS) is not appropriate du...

MULTI–ARMED BANDIT FOR PRICING Multi–Armed Bandit for Pricing

This paper is about the study of Multi–Armed Bandit (MAB) approaches for pricing applications, where a seller needs to identify the selling price for a particular kind of item that maximizes her/his profit without knowing the buyer demand. We propose modifications to the popular Upper Confidence Bound (UCB) bandit algorithm exploiting two peculiarities of pricing applications: 1) as the selling...

RAWSN: A Routing Algorithm Based on Auxiliary Nodes to Reduce Energy Consumption in Wireless Sensor Networks

In this paper, an algorithm , based on genetics and auxiliary nodes, to reduce energy consumption in wireless sensor networks has been presented. In this research, by considering some parameters as energy and distance, a target function has been created, which is more optimum comparing to other methods. In this research cluster head is selected by genetic algorithm. In RAWSN algorithm a new tec...
